Summary of ideas for opening scene

The narrative of our opening scene to a horror genre of film is based around a young girl 'Sally' who is awaken from a peaceful sleep to a face a series of paranormal activity. The film is called 'Our House' as this links to narrative: the family have just moved into a new four story victiorian home but what they dont know is that the past vancants of the house are back to haunt Sally. She will be awakened by a loud banging coming from the basement, at first she thinks it may be her pet dog but when she goes downstairs to comfort her dog it is then that she realises the scratching and suspicious movement is coming from something or someone else.A mysterious figure follows her and lurks in mirrors.Sally investigates but when she enters the basement the real horror begins to unfold and she has to try and escape the paranormal.
