Make-up Experimentation

As a group we decided that make-up and costume would play a very important part in creating the narrative of our opening sequence to a horror film as without it the characters can not be presented professionally and realistically. The first images show a trial run of the make-up look we wanted for the main 'villian' character in the film. The pale make-up, messy hair and blood running down the face portray the character as old, and someone coming back from the dead in attempt to scare and create horror.


The following images show the final make-up look we went for.However the costume was different as we thought that it didn't match the make-up look we went for therefore we picked an old white shirt ripped it and smeared some fake blood over it to portray the horror behind the character in more depth than just the makeup.
